The Alps is without doubt one of the most spectacularly beautiful regions on our planet and offers a diverse range of activities in both Summer and Winter.

Having operated tours there for many years we now consider Austria to be our “backyard” and our love of this beautiful country, its amazing culture and its friendly people is shared with our customers through the holidays and tours we organise.

The vast majority of the Alpine tours we offer are for groups, ranging from schools and colleges to company corporate events, or simply an extended party of friends. If you have 20 or more, we can tailor make a package for you. The visit may be for sporting, educational or cultural purposes or perhaps a mixture, whatever the reason Austria and Wilfreda have the passion to deliver the perfect holiday that will be remembered long after it has ended.

Winter

On our skiing and snowboard holidays all our customers enjoy packages that are totally organised perfectly for them.

We only use fully qualified, multi-lingual ski instructors who are employed locally and are therefore very experienced. Winter sports equipment is entrusted to our partners Intersport who are widely renowned as the finest ski hire suppliers.

Accommodation used varies, according to customers requirements and budget, from simple, family run establishments through to luxurious 4 and 5 star hotels. All come with our personal “seal of approval”.

As we own and operate our own fleet of ultra modern luxury coaches, schools particularly like our fantastic value for money packages that deliver them “door to door” with the minimum of fuss. Our drivers are specifically trained in this type of work and of course, our coaches are fully prepared for Alpine conditions.

As an example, ski holidays have been operated this year for schools including 6 nights accommodation in a good quality hotel, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner each day, 6 days ski and boot hire, 6 day lift pass, 6 full days of ski school, return luxury coach travel from the UK, ferry crossings, local transfers in resort, presentation evening and disco for less than £690 per pupil with all accompanying teachers free!

Summer

In the warmer months from May to September, The Austrian Alps transforms to a breathtaking blaze of colour with soaring mountains, shimmering lakes and flower filled pastures.

An array of activities also become available including, climbing, hiking, rafting, canyoning and more leisurely pusuits such as golf with some spectacular courses.

Educational, historical and cultural content can be mixed with activities to make a fantastic school trip. In Kaprun, our favourite resort, there is the opportunity, in the middle of Summer, to ski on the glacier in the morning and swim in the lake in the afternoon! Visit the huge hydro-electric dam and power station, descend deep into a salt mine, visit Hitler’s infamous “Eagles Nest” and discover “Sound of Music City” – Salzburg – the birthplace of Mozart.
