Monday We travel to Cardiff.
Tuesday Following breakfast, we include a guided tour of Cardiff. Discover Cardiff’s progress from a small settlement, to the world’s busiest port, to the modern capital city it is today. On completion of the guided tour, we include entrance to Cardiff Castle. Located within beautiful parklands at the heart of the capital, Cardiff Castle’s walls and fairytale towers conceal 2,000 years of history.
Wednesday Today we enjoy a drive through the Rhondda Valley to Penderyn for a visit to the whisky distillery. Our journey will continue to nearby Pant, were we take our seats on-board the Brecon Mountain Railway for a journey along the full length of the Pontsticill Reservoir to Torpantau high in the Brecon Beacons.
Thursday Enjoy a guided tour of the Royal Mint. Go behind the scenes and see the processes that put the pounds and pennies in your pocket. Later we continue to Caerphilly Castle, with included entrance. Dominating an impressive 30 acre site, Caerphilly Castle is Wales’ largest and Britain’s second largest castle behind Windsor.
Friday We depart after breakfast and return home.

All bedrooms are en-suite with television, telephone, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Additional facilities include a bar and restaurant.
