Day 1. Monday We travel to Liverpool.
Day 2. Tuesday Following breakfast, we travel to the picturesque village of Port Sunlight. Founded in 1888 by ‘Soap King’ William Hesketh Lever, it was built to house workers from his successful Sunlight Soap factory. Today, the village is a beautifully preserved example of Victorian planning, with stunning architecture, peaceful parkland, and a thriving community. We include entrance to the Port Sunlight Museum, where you can discover the story behind this unique village and its visionary founder. A guided coach tour will also help you explore its charm and heritage, offering a deeper insight into one of the most fascinating model villages in England.
Day 3. Wednesday Today we enjoy a visit to Southport, a classic seaside resort ideal for a relaxing day out. With expansive beaches, charming attractions, and elegant Victorian architecture, Southport offers something for everyone. Stroll along Lord Street, renowned for its excellent shopping, inviting cafés, and historic charm. The town boasts over 22 miles of coastline, featuring scenic beaches and natural beauty. Don’t miss Southport Pier - one of the oldest in the UK - stretching across the sands with stunning views. Whether you're exploring, enjoying coffee by the sea, or simply taking in the fresh air, Southport offers a delightful escape.
Day 4. Thursday Enjoy a day at leisure to explore more of Liverpool at your own pace.
Day 5. Friday We depart and return home.
