Day 2. Tuesday Today, we journey to the enchanting South Devon town of Dartmouth, a historic gem nestled on the banks of the beautiful River Dart. Wander through its quaint streets, soak up the coastal charm, and enjoy time at your leisure to explore its independent shops, galleries, and picturesque waterfront. Later this afternoon, we set sail on a delightful circular river cruise, offering stunning views and fascinating stories along the way. This relaxing and scenic cruise offers a fresh perspective on Dartmouth’s captivating history and natural beauty - a highlight not to be missed!
Day 3. Wednesday Today, we experience the charm of South Devon with a visit to three unique and characterful towns. Our first stop is Newton Abbot, a lively market town known for its rich railway heritage, traditional markets, and welcoming atmosphere. We then continue to the tranquil village of Buckfastleigh, where you can explore the beautiful Buckfast Abbey, a working Benedictine monastery set amid peaceful gardens. Finally, we arrive in the historic town of Totnes, where medieval streets meet a quirky, independent spirit. Enjoy free time to browse local shops, stroll along the riverside, or simply soak up the town’s relaxed and creative vibe.
Day 4. Thursday Spend the day at leisure enjoying Paignton at your own pace – whether strolling along the beach, browsing local shops, or relaxing with a coffee by the harbour.
Day 5. Friday We depart and return home.
