This Christmas, experience the Palace as never before. Each magnificent room is beautifully transformed with twinkling lights, enchanting themed displays, and festive surprises hidden around every corner. Outside, soak up the seasonal atmosphere at the traditional Christmas Market, set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Court. Discover festive treats, unique gifts, and warming winter refreshments in a truly magical festive setting.

Itinerary

Day 1. Friday We depart and travel to the historic city of Oxford, famously known as the "City of Dreaming Spires." With over 800 years of academic excellence, Oxford offers a wealth of cultural and historical treasures. Visit the Ashmolean Museum, home to fascinating artefacts and fine art, or explore the Pitt Rivers and Oxford University Museums, filled with natural wonders and anthropological curiosities from around the world today. Later this afternoon, we continue our journey to High Wycombe and check in at the Holiday Inn High Wycombe. This evening, relax, and enjoy a three-course dinner served in the welcoming comfort of the hotel.

Day 2. Saturday Today we visit Blenheim Palace, magnificently decorated for Christmas. Discover themed displays, seasonal music, twinkling decorations, and festive cheer throughout the grand rooms of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Set against the backdrop of the Great Court, the traditional Christmas Market offers an array of unique gifts, crafts, and seasonal treats. Blenheim is home to the 12th Duke of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, surrounded by landscaped parkland and formal gardens. It’s a truly magical setting for the festive season. Please note: entry does not include the Illuminated Light Trail.

Day 3. Sunday After breakfast, we travel to Windsor for a visit to the iconic Windsor Castle - the world’s largest and oldest inhabited castle. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, the castle has been expanded and restored by many monarchs over the centuries. Today, it remains a working royal residence and a site of national significance. Explore its State Apartments, and the grounds steeped in royal history. Windsor Castle continues to play an important ceremonial role and has housed 40 monarchs to date. Later this afternoon, we begin our journey home. Please Note: St George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on a Sunday.

Itinerary Change: The holiday will no longer visit Waddesdon Manor and has been replaced with Windsor Castle.
