Admire the 1,000-year-old cathedral, famed for its stunning medieval carvings, and don’t miss the unique 700-year-old Rows galleries, where shopping becomes a double delight. The Christmas Market, set in the square around the Town Hall, hosts around 70 local traders offering handmade crafts, gifts, and seasonal treats. Later this afternoon, we journey across the border to Mold and check in at the Beaufort Park Hotel. This evening, enjoy a delicious three-course dinner.
Day 2. Sunday After breakfast, we depart for Tatton Park, one of Britain’s most complete historic estates. Set in stunning Cheshire countryside, it boasts landscaped gardens, a vast deer park, a working farm, and an elegant 18th-century mansion. Each Christmas, the grand staterooms are transformed with a new festive theme - expect twinkling lights, beautiful decorations, and magical displays throughout. Take time to explore the house, grounds, and speciality shops, and soak up the seasonal atmosphere. We also include a tasty two-course lunch, freshly prepared using produce from the Tatton Estate.
