Day 1. Friday We begin our journey with a visit to King’s Lynn, a historic town rich in character and charm. Enjoy free time to explore the beautiful Saturday Market Place, dominated by the grand King’s Lynn Minster. Wander cobbled lanes, admire fine historic buildings, browse independent shops, and take in picturesque riverside views. This charming town offers a perfect blend of heritage, shopping, and culture. In the afternoon, we continue to the outskirts of Norwich, where we check in at the Mercure Norwich Hotel. Unwind and settle in before enjoying a delicious three-course dinner this evening - the perfect start to a relaxing weekend.
Day 2. Saturday Following a hearty breakfast, we include a full-day excursion to the historic city of Norwich. Like any great city, its centre is easy to explore on foot and features a scenic river at its heart. Norwich is the only English city located within a National Park - the stunning Norfolk Broads. As the most complete medieval city in the UK, it offers a fascinating blend of history, culture, and architecture, alongside excellent independent and High Street shopping. It was also proudly named England’s first UNESCO City of Literature. Later this afternoon, we visit Wroxham and enjoy a leisurely cruise through Britain’s magical Norfolk Broads waterland.
Day 3. Sunday We depart this morning and begin our journey home via the magnificent Sandringham Estate, the much-loved country retreat of Their Majesties King Charles III and The Queen Consort. Today, the estate hosts the RHS Sandringham Flower Show, a spectacular celebration of horticulture set in these historic royal grounds. Explore the stunning show gardens, browse the Floral Marquee, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of this new RHS event. Please note, entrance to the house is not included. After a memorable visit surrounded by breathtaking floral displays and garden inspiration, we depart later this afternoon and return home.
