Day 1. Friday We depart this morning and begin our journey with a visit to the Silverstone Museum, located at the iconic Silverstone Circuit. This exciting attraction brings the world of British motorsport to life with legendary cars, classic bikes, immersive displays, and state-of-the-art racing simulators. Learn about the history of the track, the science of speed, and the stories of racing greats who made history here. After an exhilarating start to our holiday, we continue to Coventry and check in at the DoubleTree by Hilton Coventry. This evening, relax and enjoy a delicious three-course evening meal served in the hotel’s comfortable restaurant.
Day 2. Saturday After a hearty breakfast, we head to Coventry for a visit to the award-winning Coventry Transport Museum. Home to the world’s largest publicly owned collection of British vehicles, the museum offers a deep dive into the country’s transport heritage. From vintage bicycles and motorbikes to classic cars and record-breaking speed machines, there’s something to fascinate every visitor. Learn about Coventry’s vital role in the development of the British motor industry through interactive exhibits and stunning displays. After our visit, there may be time to explore the city centre before we return to the hotel for a relaxing evening.
Day 3. Sunday Following breakfast, we check out of the hotel and begin our journey home, with a final stop at the impressive British Motor Museum in Gaydon. This renowned museum features over 400 classic and vintage vehicles, telling the story of the British motor industry from its beginnings to the present day. Marvel at iconic cars, rare prototypes, and learn about the innovators and engineers behind them. There’s also time to explore the museum’s interactive exhibits and fascinating collections at your leisure. After an inspiring visit filled with motoring history and nostalgia, we depart later this afternoon to continue our journey home.
