Sunday at the Strand Palace Hotel

Day 1. Sunday We depart and travel to the Strand Palace Hotel, aiming to arrive by 13:00 (subject to traffic conditions). Luggage can be stored at the hotel, and you are welcome to return any time after 16:00 to check in. London’s vibrant markets, shopping districts, and world-renowned department stores offer something for every taste, style, and budget. From Harrods and Harvey Nichols to Selfridges and Liberty, you’ll discover everything from designer fashion and luxury homeware to gourmet food and unique gifts. A limited number of West End shows offer Sunday performances. Please speak to a member of the team for more information.

Day 2. Monday Today is yours to explore London at your own pace. Located in the heart of London’s West End, Covent Garden is a lively destination brimming with shopping, theatre, dining, history, and culture. Discover designer boutiques, independent shops, restaurants, bars, and iconic landmarks. Highlights in and around the area include the London Transport Museum, Royal Opera House, and the historic Apple Market, which continues to support local traders offering handmade crafts and one-of-a-kind pieces. Enjoy time to explore, shop, or simply soak up the vibrant atmosphere before we depart at 15:30 and begin our journey home.

Haxells Restaurant & Bar is located on our ground floor next to the lobby, serving modern British cuisine throughout the day and evening.

The Palace Tea Parlour, at Haxells, serves delicate bites accompanied by an assortment of loose-leaf tea throughout the day.

The Gin Palace and Cocktail Bar, also located on the ground floor boasts a wide array of gins, wines, spirits and expertly mixed cocktails, it's the ideal place to stop by for aperitifs and pre-theatre drinks.

Covent Garden Underground Station is a short walk from the hotel, making this an ideal location for exploring all that London has to offer.
