Day 1. Monday We travel to Paignton. Dinner & entertainment.
Day 2. Tuesday Following a hearty breakfast, we include an excursion to Buckfastleigh and Totnes. Shrouded in a touch of mystery, Buckfastleigh is one of the most diverse and intriguing towns in South Devon, full of character and charm. The town is dominated by the beautiful Benedictine Buckfast Abbey. Dating back to 907 AD, Totnes is a fascinating historic town that perfectly blends stunning countryside with independent shops, local food and drink, creative arts, vibrant culture, and attractions along the River Dart. This evening, celebrate Christmas Day with a delicious four-course dinner, followed by coffee and entertainment in the lounge.
Day 3. Wednesday Today, we journey to the enchanting South Devon town of Dartmouth, a historic gem nestled on the scenic banks of the River Dart. Discover its winding cobbled streets, rich in character and charm, and take in the captivating blend of maritime heritage and coastal beauty. Stroll along the picturesque waterfront, where colourful boats bob gently in the harbour, and enjoy time at your leisure to explore the town’s delightful independent shops, art galleries, cafés, and inviting restaurants that make Dartmouth truly unforgettable. This evening, enjoy dinner followed by coffee and entertainment in the lounge.
Day 4. Thursday Spend the day at leisure enjoying Paignton at your own pace – whether strolling along the beach, browsing local shops, or relaxing with a coffee by the harbour. This evening, enjoy dinner followed by coffee and entertainment in the lounge.
Day 5. Friday We depart and return home.
