Day 1. Monday: We depart and travel to either Hull or Newcastle for the overnight ferry crossing to Holland with dinner and breakfast included on-board. All standard inside cabins will be bunk-beds. Cabin upgrades with low-beds available on request.
Day 2. Tuesday: On arrival, our adventure will continue, as we travel to our overnight hotel for one night, dinner, bed & breakfast (minimum 3-star standard).
Day 3. Wednesday: This morning, we continue our journey into Italy for six nights dinner, bed & breakfast at the Grand Hotel, Riva del Garda.
Day 4. Thursday: Enjoy a free day to enjoy Riva del Garda. We also include a return cruise to the picturesque town of Malcesine, giving you the chance to soak up breathtaking lake views from the water. Nestled at the foot of Monte Baldo, Malcesine is known for its cobbled lanes, colourful waterfront, and the striking Scaliger Castle - one of the most photographed landmarks on Lake Garda.
Day 5. Friday: This morning, our English‑speaking guide leads us through enchanting Verona, a city steeped in history and famous for its elegant piazzas, Roman amphitheatre and romantic charm. As we wander its cobbled streets and admire its timeless architecture, you’ll have the chance to soak up the atmosphere of one of Italy’s most captivating cities. We then continue into the sun‑drenched Valpolicella region, where rolling vineyards and picturesque landscapes set the scene for a memorable wine‑tasting experience, sampling some of the area’s most celebrated local varieties.
Day 6. Saturday: Enjoy a day free day.
Day 7. Sunday: Today, we journey to the enchanting cities of Mantova and Valeggio, discovering their rich history, charming piazzas and timeless Italian character. Our day is made even more memorable with an included tortellini lunch, complete with dessert, wine and water - an authentic taste of the region’s famous culinary tradition.
Day 8. Monday: Today we travel to the delightful lakeside town of Bardolino, where we enjoy a relaxed olive oil and wine tasting, sampling some of the region’s most celebrated flavours. We then continue to the enchanting peninsula of Sirmione, famed for its thermal waters, medieval castle and sparkling lake views.
Day 9. Tuesday: We depart Riva del Garda and begin our return journey home travelling through Austria and into Germany and our overnight hotel for one night dinner, bed & breakfast (minimum 3-star standard).
Day 10. Wednesday: Enjoy a relaxing breakfast this morning, before our return home continues. Later this afternoon we make our way to the ferry port for the return overnight crossing with dinner and breakfast included on-board. All standard inside cabins will be bunk-beds. Cabin upgrades with low-beds available on request.
Day 11. Thursday: We depart the ferry after breakfast and begin our return journey home.
Passports: It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport and any required visa(s) for your chosen holiday. Some countries require a minimum of 6 months’ validity on a passport from your return date.
