Day 1. Friday We depart and travel to Edinburgh, arriving at the Delta Hotel by Marriott Edinburgh. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Take time to explore this vibrant city, filled with stunning architecture, charming streets, and rich history. You may wish to admire the views from Calton Hill, stroll through Princes Street Gardens, or wander the cobbled lanes of the Old Town. Edinburgh offers a wealth of attractions, from galleries and museums to cosy cafés and traditional pubs. This evening, perhaps experience a ghost tour, catch a show at the theatre, or simply relax with a dram of traditional Scottish whisky.
Day 2. Saturday Today is a free day to explore Edinburgh at your own pace. Located within the city’s UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Royal Mile stretches from the iconic Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. This historic thoroughfare is rich in culture and character, lined with centuries-old buildings, hidden closes, and famous landmarks including St Giles’ Cathedral and the Scottish Parliament. Along the way, you’ll discover museums, shops, traditional pubs, and inviting cafés. Whether you choose to join a guided walking tour or simply wander independently, there is something special and memorable around every historic corner.
In the afternoon, the coach will return from Edinburgh to the hotel at 16:00. This evening, we offer a coach shuttle back into Edinburgh, departing the hotel at 18:00 and returning at 23:00. Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 3. Sunday After breakfast, enjoy another day at leisure to experience more of Edinburgh’s many attractions and hidden gems. You may wish to visit the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, perched high above the city on Castle Rock, where you can discover Scotland’s rich history and enjoy panoramic views across the capital. Alternatively, explore the elegant Georgian streets of the New Town, browse the boutiques and cafés of George Street, or visit one of the city’s fascinating museums, such as the National Museum of Scotland. You could also relax in one of the city’s beautiful parks or enjoy traditional Scottish cuisine and hospitality.

Day 4. Monday Enjoy some final time this morning to take in the sights and sounds of Edinburgh. You may wish to enjoy a last stroll through the historic centre or head to the famous Princes Street for shopping and sightseeing. With its unique layout - shops on one side and beautiful gardens on the other - Princes Street offers excellent shopping alongside some of the best views of Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town skyline. Whether you are picking up last-minute souvenirs or simply soaking up the city’s historic charm, it is the perfect way to end your visit. Later this afternoon, we begin our journey home after an unforgettable city break.
