Day 1. Monday We travel to Hungerford, Berkshire.
Day 2. Tuesday Following breakfast, we will enjoy a visit to Salisbury. A cathedral city of timeless beauty and captivating history, Salisbury has been welcoming travellers since 1227. At its heart stands Salisbury Cathedral, a breathtaking landmark that has drawn visitors for centuries. Surrounding the Cathedral is a modern medieval city, where historic architecture meets contemporary life. Nearby, the famed Cathedral Close is home to a range of attractions, including Arundells, Mompesson House, The Rifles Military Museum, and Salisbury Museum. The city's historic streets host a mix of well-known brands and unique independent shops.
Day 3. Wednesday Following breakfast, we will enjoy a visit to Marlborough. Nestled in rural Wiltshire, Marlborough is an area of outstanding natural beauty, much of which is environmentally protected. It offers a distinctive blend of historic charm and modern attractions, making it a delightful destination. Marlborough's High Street - one of the widest in the UK - is lined with characterful old buildings that house a variety of boutiques. Among the town’s intriguing claims to fame is Merlin’s Mound, located within the grounds of Marlborough College. This ancient earthwork is reputed to be the burial place of the legendary wizard Merlin.
Day 4. Thursday Following breakfast, we will enjoy a day at leisure to enjoy the on-site facilities & entertainment.
Day 5. Friday We depart and return home.
The balance on all breaks to Warner Hotels is strictly 8 weeks prior to arrival, with the following cancellation charges applicable.
