Day 1. Monday We travel to Grange over Sands. Don’t forget to collect your three* complimentary drinks vouchers on arrival and enjoy your three-course evening meal.
Day 2. Tuesday Start your day with a hearty English breakfast before heading off to explore the historic city of Lancaster, rich with heritage and charm. Discover its cobbled streets, independent shops, and striking architecture - including the imposing Lancaster Castle, with origins dating back almost 1,000 years. In the afternoon, return to the comfort of the hotel and savour a warming soup and sandwich lunch. The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax at leisure - perhaps take in the views, enjoy a quiet moment, or simply unwind - before enjoying a delicious evening meal. Day 3. Wednesday After a hearty breakfast, we set off to explore the charming market town of Kendal, known as the gateway to the Lake District. Discover the impressive Kendal Castle, wander through fascinating local museums, or browse a variety of independent shops and boutiques. Whether you’re drawn by history, culture, or a spot of retail therapy, Kendal offers something for everyone. In the afternoon, return to the comfort of the hotel and savour a warming soup and sandwich lunch, perfect for a cosy midday pause. The remainder of the afternoon is free. Dinner and three* complimentary drinks vouchers are included this evening.
Day 4. Thursday After a leisurely breakfast, we set off on a scenic journey through the heart of the Lake District, passing rolling hills, glistening lakes, and some of the region’s most picturesque towns and storybook villages. Sit back, relax, and take in the views as we wind through this breathtaking landscape. From mirror-like waters to rugged mountain peaks, every turn reveals a postcard-perfect scene filled with natural beauty and timeless charm. To make the experience even more enjoyable, a delicious, packed lunch is included, perfect for a mid-day bite on the go. Dinner and three* complimentary drinks vouchers are included this evening.
Day 5. Friday We depart for home, taking with you a delicious packed lunch to enjoy on your journey.
*3 drinks vouchers per day of which 2 vouchers per day can be used for alcoholic drinks choosing from selected house wines and spirits (not including De Luxe and Malts), draught larger and beers, soft drinks, tea, and coffee.
