Day 1. Saturday We travel to Eastbourne.
Day 2. Sunday Following breakfast, we include an excursion to Brighton. From the stunning heritage of the Royal Pavilion, elegant Regency architecture, and fascinating Victorian aquariums to the lively seaside fun of the Pier, Brighton offers something for everyone. Why not take to the skies on the world’s tallest moving observation tower and see Brighton, as you have never seen them before, on the spectacular Brighton i360 experience.
Day 3. Monday Today we enjoy a visit to Hastings and Rye. Once one of the medieval Cinque Ports, Hastings still maintains a strong connection to the sea and is home to Europe’s largest beach-launched fishing fleet. Highlights include Britain’s steepest funicular, the charming Old Town, and William the Conqueror’s first English castle. Nearby, the historic town of Rye, with its cobbled streets and hilltop views over the River Rother and Romney Marsh, offers a relaxed and picturesque atmosphere.
Day 4. Tuesday Enjoy a morning visit to Battle. Named after the Battle of Hastings, the most famous conflict on English soil, this compact market town grew up alongside the battleground, tranquil medieval abbey and surrounding ancient woodlands – largely unchanged to this day.
Day 5. Wednesday Following breakfast, we include an excursion to Worthing & Littlehampton. One of the biggest seaside towns on the South Coast, Worthing is a lively destination for shopping, eating, entertainment and family fun by the seaside! Home to superb sandy beaches, a bustling marina and harbour and stunning contemporary architecture, Littlehampton is home to the UK’s longest beach, as well as West Beach Local Nature Reserve.
