Day 1. Sunday We depart and travel to Newcastle with its popular Sunday Market. Newcastle Quayside Market has been part of North East culture for as long as anyone can remember. Taking place every Sunday between 9am and 4pm on Newcastle Quayside, the outdoor Quayside Sunday Market features independent traders from all over the region selling handcrafted goods and local products. We stay overnight this evening at the Maldron Hotel Newcastle, ideally located in the heart of Newcastle City Centre, within minutes’ walk of many shops, restaurants, bars and popular tourist attractions. Hotel on a bed & breakfast basis.
Day 2. Monday Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and additional free time in Newcastle or you may wish to join our complimentary transfer to the Metro Centre, the largest shopping centre in the North East with over 270 stores. With countless retailers and stores to explore in Newcastle City Centre and many more stylish boutiques nearby, you're spoiled for choice when it comes to indulging in a spot of retail therapy. For the latest in fashion, discover the wide range of clothing, and accessories on offer at Eldon Square, Newcastle's most well-known shopping centre. Here you can browse the rails of some of the region's best high street retailers and department stores like John Lewis and Fenwicks. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
