Day 1. Monday We travel to Street.
Day 2. Tuesday Following breakfast, we’ll embark on a captivating visit to Glastonbury, a town rich in ancient myth and spiritual mystery. Wander its charming streets, visit the iconic Glastonbury Abbey ruins, and soak up the unique atmosphere that has inspired legends and pilgrims for centuries. After exploring this fascinating town, our day continues to the vibrant seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare. Here, you can enjoy the fresh sea breeze along wide golden beaches, stroll the classic Victorian pier, or relax in one of the many inviting cafés. This perfect blend of history, myth, and coastal charm promises a truly memorable day out.
Day 3. Wednesday Today we embark on an unforgettable adventure at Longleat House & Safari Park, one of the UK’s most renowned stately homes and wildlife destinations. Our day kicks off with an exciting drive through the Safari Park, where you’ll come face-to-face with magnificent creatures from Africa and Asia - majestic lions, towering giraffes, and powerful rhinos among them. Celebrating over 50 years since opening the first drive-through safari outside Africa, Longleat remains a pioneering experience. The grand Longleat House, home to the Marquess of Bath, adds a touch of history and elegance to the day with a guided tour.
The coach will not drive through the Monkey enclosure on the visit to Longleat Safari Park.
Day 4. Thursday Enjoy a day at leisure to explore more of Street at your own pace.
Day 5. Friday We depart after breakfast and return home.
