Day 1. Monday We travel to Weston super Mare.
Day 2. Tuesday Following breakfast, we include an excursion to Bath. The golden city of Bath has welcomed visitors for over 2,000 years. Bath is home to some of the most impressive architectural sights in the world, including the Royal Crescent. At the heart of Bath city centre, next to Bath’s imposing Abbey, is the Roman Baths Museum, which offers a fascinating insight into the original bathing complex and the great Roman temple of Sulis Minerva. You’ll have time to explore the city at your leisure, whether soaking in the history or indulging in a bit of shopping. Bath is full of places to eat, drink, and independent shops, making it the ideal excursion.
Day 3. Wednesday Today, we include an excursion to Wells, England’s smallest – and Somerset’s only – city. At its centre stands the magnificent Wells Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture that has welcomed pilgrims and visitors for over 850 years. The city is full of charm and character, with highlights including Vicars’ Close – the oldest residential street in Europe – and the beautiful, moated Bishop’s Palace. Stroll through its historic streets, explore bustling markets, and enjoy the variety of independent shops and cafés. With its rich heritage, peaceful atmosphere, and stunning architecture, Wells offers a truly memorable experience.
Day 4. Thursday Enjoy a day at leisure to explore more of Weston super Mare at your own pace.
Day 5. Friday We depart after breakfast and return home.
