There are few places in Britain more picturesque than Constable Country in Suffolk. Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this rural landscape was where the painter John Constable was born, and where he painted his most celebrated works.

Itinerary

Day 1. Monday We travel to Ipswich.

Day 2. Tuesday Following breakfast, we include an excursion to Lavenham and Sudbury with the afternoon free in Bury St. Edmunds.

Day 3. Wednesday Today we enjoy a visit to Cambridge.

Day 4. Thursday Enjoy a guided tour of Constable Country.

Day 5. Friday We depart and return home.

Priory Hotel

The Priory Hotel is just a 5-minute drive from Bury St. Edmunds. All bedrooms are en-suite with television, tea/coffee making facilities and Wi-Fi. Additional facilities include a restaurant and bar. NO LIFT. Limited ground floor bedrooms in the landscaped gardens.
