Day 1. Monday We travel to Torquay.
Day 2. Tuesday Following breakfast, we include an excursion to Sidmouth & Dawlish. Sidmouth lies on the Jurassic Coast and the coastline is dominated by the vivid red sandstone cliff which date back to the Triassic period. Along the front is the Millennium Walkway which stretches the length of the beach, which is made of pebbles, providing the perfect background for a stroll. Dawlish is a traditional seaside town, with a wonderful golden sand beach on its doorstep. The town offers a range of amusements and is centred around The Lawn and Brook, which is home to the famous black swans. Just a few miles down the road is Dawlish Warren, a beautiful nature reserve with a blue flag beach.
Day 3. Wednesday Today we enjoy a visit to Dartmouth. The beautiful town of Dartmouth is situated at the mouth of the River Dart and is one of South Devon’s most popular and enchanting towns. With its charming historic streets, scenic river location and surrounded by South Devon countryside you have to go a long way to find a town as pretty. Dartmouth is choc-a-bloc with sailing stores plus lots of independent boutiques, gift shops and endless art galleries all set within pretty streets. Here you’ll see many historic buildings with stunning architecture. Don’t miss Foss Street, the oldest street in Dartmouth, which is crammed with boutiques and galleries.
Day 4. Thursday Enjoy a day at leisure or we may offer an optional excursion (charge applicable). Your driver will provide you with further information.
Day 5. Friday We depart and return home.
