Itinerary

Day 1. Monday We depart and travel to Harrogate, the definitive boutique spa town in the heart of Yorkshire. Its elegant streets are filled with stylish shops, inviting cafés, and bustling eateries. With its handsome historic buildings and beautiful gardens, Harrogate remains one of Yorkshire’s most charming and sophisticated destinations. Later this afternoon, we continue our journey to the picturesque village of Rosedale Abbey, where a warm welcome drink awaits on arrival. After taking time to settle into your room, the evening brings a delicious dinner in the restaurant, accompanied by a complimentary glass of house wine, beer, or a soft drink.

Day 2. Tuesday After a hearty breakfast, we set out to explore the spectacular North York Moors and Coast on our included excursion. Our first stop is the charming seaside town of Whitby, where you can stroll along the cobbled streets, browse the many independent shops, and perhaps sample what’s said to be the best fish and chips in the world. Later this afternoon, we travel back into the moors and dales, stopping in the famous village of Goathland, known as “Aidensfield” in TV’s Heartbeat. We return to the White Horse Farm Inn later for tea and biscuits, followed by dinner with a complimentary glass of house wine, beer or a soft drink.

Day 3. Wednesday After breakfast, we begin our day with a short visit to the vibrant market town of Pickering before continuing to the classic seaside resort of Scarborough. From the rugged rocky headland and traditional charm of the South Bay to the bright beach huts and award-winning sands of the North Bay, Scarborough has everything needed for a delightful visit. Later this afternoon, we return to our hotel via Thornton-le-Dale, a quaint and picturesque English village. We return to the White Horse Farm Inn later for tea and biscuits, followed by dinner with a complimentary glass of house wine, beer or a soft drink.

Day 4. Thursday We check out and depart this morning after breakfast, travelling to the magnificent city of York. Renowned for its stunning architecture, impressive Gothic cathedral, and maze of charming, cobbled streets, historic York provides the perfect setting for a memorable visit. As old meets new, the city delights with vibrant cafés, colourful street entertainers, and an array of boutique and high street shops waiting to be explored. Whether you choose to wander its historic walls or simply soak up the atmosphere, York offers something for everyone.
