Itinerary

Day 1. Friday We depart and travel to Norwich for time at leisure. Like any great city, its centre is easy to explore on foot and is beautifully shaped by the river that runs through it. As the only English city located within a National Park - the stunning Norfolk Broads - Norwich offers a rare blend of urban energy and natural beauty. It’s also the most complete medieval city in the UK, with a wealth of independent shops, and a proud literary heritage as England’s first UNESCO City of Literature. After time to explore this fascinating city, we continue to Great Yarmouth and check in to the Prom Hotel. This evening, enjoy a three-course dinner at the hotel.

Day 2. Saturday Today we enjoy a visit to the picturesque North Norfolk coast and the bustling seaside town of Cromer. Perched on the very edge of the coastline, Cromer is renowned for its delicious crabs, expansive sandy beaches, and a charming traditional pier that features a theatre hosting popular seaside variety shows. The town buzzes with characterful independent shops, cafes, and eateries, reflecting its rich fishing heritage. Cromer proudly boasts a historic lighthouse and a long-standing tradition of RNLI lifeboat service. Take time to breathe in the fresh sea air, enjoy the sea views, and immerse yourself in the town’s friendly atmosphere.

Day 3. Sunday Following breakfast, enjoy some free time in Great Yarmouth. Packed with attractions and activities, the lively Golden Mile boasts the rides of the renowned Pleasure Beach, the world-famous Hippodrome Circus, arcades, crazy golf, and the new Marina Centre. Beyond the excitement, Great Yarmouth is steeped in history and heritage at every turn - a fascinating blend of past and culture. Its town wall is one of the last surviving medieval walls in the country, while its majestic buildings tell the story of its rich history as a major port and leading trading centre. We depart later this afternoon to complete our journey home.

Excursion days are subject to change and will be confirmed with your final travel documents.
