Day 1. Monday We travel to St. Annes on Sea.
Day 2. Tuesday Enjoy a day visiting the charming towns of Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale. Settle is a bustling market town surrounded by scenic villages, known for its historic architecture, lively market square, and a maze of narrow alleys and hidden courtyards. It offers a warm welcome and plenty of local character. Later, we continue to Kirkby Lonsdale, a picturesque town perched on the edge of both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Here, you’ll find independent shops, cosy cafés, and striking landmarks such as Ruskin’s View. With beautiful landscapes, rich heritage, and a relaxed pace of life, both towns provide a perfect blend of culture, history, and natural charm making this a memorable day filled with timeless English countryside appeal.
Day 3. Wednesday Today we enjoy a visit to Southport, a classic seaside resort perfect for a relaxing excursion. With its expansive beaches, charming attractions, and elegant Victorian heritage, Southport has something for everyone. Take a stroll along Lord Street, famous for its superb shopping, inviting cafés, and beautiful period architecture. Southport boasts over 22 miles of coastline, home to scenic beaches and unspoiled natural beauty. Don’t miss the chance to walk along Southport Pier - one of the oldest in the UK - which stretches proudly across the sands and offers stunning views over the Northwest. Whether you're exploring the town, enjoying a coffee by the sea, or simply soaking up the coastal air, Southport promises a delightful and refreshing day out.
Day 4. Thursday Enjoy a day at leisure to explore more of St. Annes on Sea at your own pace.
Day 5. Friday We depart and return home.
