Itinerary

Day 1. Monday We travel to Aberfoyle.

Day 2. Tuesday Today we enjoy a cruise on the Firth of Forth. The 90-minute scenic cruise will take in the spectacular views of the Three Bridges, the beautiful panoramas of the Edinburgh skyline to the south and the Kingdom of Fife to the north. Later this afternoon we travel into central Edinburgh for free time to explore. There is a whole host of things to see and do in Edinburgh, from the iconic Edinburgh Castle to the National Museum of Scotland, which is free to enter. Enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner this evening and entertainment.

Day 3. Wednesday Enjoy a visit to Stirling. Later this after we continue to Scotland’s oldest distillery, Glenturret. Situated on the banks of the River Turret in the beautiful town of Crieff. Our visit will include a 1-hour guided tour, which will take you through the traditional art of making the single malt whisky which uses hand operated, time-honoured methods. The guides will also bring to life the history and heritage of one of Scotland's most iconic whisky brands. Today is New Years Eve, enjoy dinner this evening, a glass of fizz and entertainment.

Day 4. Thursday Today we enjoy a visit to Glasgow. Located on the banks of the River Clyde, Glasgow is renowned for its striking architecture, contemporary art spaces and fascinating museums, it’s one of the most exciting cities you’ll ever come across. The city is home to some of Scotland's best cultural attractions and many of them are completely free! Explore Glasgow's music scene on a city walking tour or uncover countless treasures inside its fantastic museums and art galleries.

Day 5. Friday We depart after breakfast and return home.

Rob Roy Hotel

Named after the legendary local folk hero Rob Roy McGregor, the Rob Roy Hotel is wonderfully situated in idyllic countryside at the gateway to the glorious Trossachs and is set within Scotland’s first National Park.
