Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel to Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and the Official Residence of His Majesty The King. A royal home and fortress for over 900 years, the Castle remains a working palace to this day. During the festive season, Windsor Castle is beautifully transformed, with elegant Christmas decorations throughout the visitor route. A particular highlight is the magnificent 20-foot Nordmann Fir in St George’s Hall, sourced from Windsor Great Park and adorned with thousands of twinkling lights and beautiful ornaments. After exploring the Castle and enjoying its enchanting festive atmosphere, we depart later this afternoon for Shepperton and the Holiday Inn London Shepperton. This evening, relax and enjoy a three-course buffet dinner at the hotel.
Day 2. Sunday We depart after breakfast and visit Hampton Court Palace for its Festive Fayre, a festive food lover’s wonderland filled with artisan food and drink, seasonal cookery demonstrations and plenty of Christmas cheer. Eat, drink and be merry while soaking up the atmosphere and spirit of the season. Live music and horse-drawn cart rides add to the magical experience, making it a wonderful festive day out for everyone and a truly memorable experience. NEW for 2026, step inside The Winter Palace and discover the glowing halls of Hampton Court Palace, where mythical beasts join the most magical ball of the year. The spell is cast, and throughout the Palace, extraordinary creatures are gathering to welcome you to a celebration like no other. We depart later this afternoon for our journey home.
