Day 1. Monday: An early start this morning as we make our way to the port of Cairnryan for our relaxing and scenic crossing to Belfast. Upon arrival in Northern Ireland’s vibrant capital, we journey onward to the outskirts of the city, where we’ll settle in for four nights, dinner, bed & breakfast at the Dunadry Hotel & Gardens.
Day 2. Tuesday: Today we enjoy a guided tour of Belfast with included entrance to the Titanic Story. Belfast is a vibrant, modern city with a fascinating past. Get your bearings with a guided tour through its four ‘Quarters’ taking in historic landmarks including City Hall and Queens University. Later this afternoon we include entrance to Titanic Belfast. Titanic is an unmissable visit in any tour of Northern Ireland. It is in the heart of Belfast, on the slipways where RMS Titanic was built. Inside the iconic building, you will re-live the entire Titanic story from her birth in Belfast to the fateful maiden voyage and her eventual discovery on the seabed.
Day 3. Wednesday: Our adventure takes us further north to the world-famous Giant’s Causeway for a two-hour visit. No tour of Northern Ireland is complete without experiencing this UNESCO World Heritage Site, steeped in myth, legend, and natural wonder. Located along the rugged North Antrim Coast, the Causeway features around 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, formed by volcanic activity over 60 million years ago. According to legend, the giant Finn McCool built the Causeway to confront his Scottish rival, Benandonner. As Northern Ireland’s only World Heritage Site and a National Nature Reserve, it lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. After exploring the Causeway, we return to Belfast for a guided tour and tasting at Titanic Distillers. Walk in the footsteps of dock workers and explore Thompson Dock and Pumphouse - the last place Titanic rested on dry ground. "Clock in" as workers once did to discover the city’s revived whiskey-making tradition at Belfast’s first working distillery in nearly 90 years. The 60-minute guided tour includes a sensory tasting experience of their award-winning Irish spirits.
Day 4. Thursday: Today, we enjoy a guided tour of Hillsborough Castle, a grand Georgian estate and official royal residence. Step into the heart of British and Irish history, where key moments and diplomatic events have unfolded. Following the tour, relax with a serving of tea and scones, then enjoy free time to wander through 100 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Discover serene woodlands, peaceful lakes, and ornamental grounds at your own pace. Later this afternoon, we return to Belfast, where you’ll have free time to explore the city, take in local sights, or simply unwind at your leisure. A perfect blend of history and relaxation awaits.
Day 5. Friday: We depart and continue towards Belfast Port to begin the final leg of our truly unforgettable adventure, returning to Cairnryan. As the ferry sets sail, we reflect on the unforgettable memories we’ve made and the enduring magic of Northern Ireland that will stay with us long after we return home.
