Itinerary

Day 1. Monday We travel to Aberfoyle.

Day 2. Tuesday Today, we enjoy a visit to Edinburgh – not only the capital of Scotland but also one of the world’s most stunning cities. From medieval tenements and the narrow wynds of the atmospheric Old Town to the sweeping elegance of the Georgian New Town, Edinburgh is steeped in history and charm. There’s no shortage of things to see and do. Explore the iconic Edinburgh Castle, discover the fascinating (and free!) National Museum of Scotland, or dare to enter the spine-tingling Edinburgh Dungeon. If you're in the mood for some retail therapy, Edinburgh offers a fantastic shopping experience with something to suit every budget.

Day 3. Wednesday Enjoy a day travelling through the glorious Trossachs en route to Stirling. Our journey takes us over the scenic Duke’s Pass and through the charming village of Brig o’ Turk, before arriving in Stirling - a small city with a truly grand history. Stirling is home to one of Scotland’s most important historic sites: Stirling Castle. Perched atop Castle Hill, the fortress has stood for centuries as a royal stronghold and has witnessed the lives of many kings and queens. Inside, you can explore magnificent features including the Great Hall, Chapel Royal, castle exhibition, Regimental Museum, Tapestry Studio, and beautifully maintained grounds.

Day 4. Thursday Enjoy a day discovering Glasgow - a vibrant city bursting with history, culture, and mouth-watering food and drink. Whether you're into art, science, football, or history, Glasgow has something for everyone. Home to one of Europe’s largest civic art collections, the city boasts world-class museums and galleries - many of them free to visit. Uncover stories from Glasgow’s past, admire its striking architecture, or relax in its green city parks. Don’t miss the award-winning Riverside Museum, where you’ll find an impressive transport collection and recreated street scenes from a bygone era - a true highlight for visitors of all ages.

Day 5. Friday We depart and return home.

Excursion days are subject to change and will be confirmed with your final travel documents.
