Day 1. Monday We travel to Dundee.
Day 2. Tuesday Enjoy a leisurely morning in Dundee. This afternoon, we journey to the captivating city of Edinburgh, where you’ll have free time to wander its historic streets, discover charming hidden gems, or simply soak up the vibrant local culture at your own pace. Edinburgh’s rich tapestry of history, stunning architecture, and world-class attractions make it one of the most enchanting capitals in the world. As evening falls, the coach will whisk you to the majestic Edinburgh Castle for The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Against the dramatic silhouette of the castle, prepare to be mesmerized by this legendary spectacle - a dazzling celebration of military precision, stirring music, and cultural performances from elite bands and display teams from across the globe.
Important Information: Some passengers may find the walk to the castle difficult. There is a steeply inclined walk up Castlehill, the old, cobbled approach to the Esplanade. There is then a further 60-metre walk, followed by steps up to the spectator stands where the seating is steeply tiered.

Day 3. Wednesday Today we travel into the ancient Kingdom of Fife and enjoy a visit to St Andrews, Scotland’s world-famous home of golf. Renowned for its historic university, medieval streets, and beautiful traditional buildings, this charming coastal town offers plenty to explore - from the ruins of St Andrews Cathedral to the intriguing nearby attraction, Scotland’s Secret Bunker. Later, we continue to historic Scone Palace. With its rich and colourful past, Scone Palace is one of Scotland’s most important stately homes. Fifteen hundred years ago, it was the capital of the Picts. In the centuries that followed, it became the seat of parliaments and the crowning place of the Kings of Scots - including Macbeth and Robert the Bruce.
Day 4. Thursday We depart after breakfast and return home.
