Stretching along one of the most dramatic shorelines in Britain, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is the UK’s only fully coastal national park – a true gem carved by wind, sea, and time. Rugged cliffs, golden beaches, and sweeping sea views provide a breathtaking backdrop for adventure and discovery. Our journey begins in Tenby, a harbour town where pastel-coloured houses meet cobbled streets, and centuries-old stone walls whisper tales of Norman knights and maritime legends. Enclosed by medieval fortifications and embraced by sandy shores, Tenby effortlessly blends charm with history - the perfect base for exploring this spectacular coast.

Itinerary

Day 1. Monday We travel to Tenby.

Day 2. Tuesday Following breakfast, we include an excursion to St David’s, situated on the far southwest coast of Wales. Although officially recognised as a city because of its magnificent cathedral, St David’s retains the charm and character of a traditional village. Visitors can explore its narrow streets, historic buildings, and picturesque surroundings while enjoying its peaceful atmosphere. The area also offers stunning coastal scenery and opportunities to appreciate Wales’s natural beauty. Combining history, and breathtaking landscapes, St David’s provides a wonderful experience for visitors, making it a memorable highlight during your stay.

Day 3. Wednesday Today we enjoy a visit to the historic town of Carmarthen and the charming seaside village of Saundersfoot. Carmarthen, known as the oldest town in Wales, blends traditional Welsh heritage with modern vibrancy. Visitors can explore its Wednesday market, where local produce and crafts create a lively atmosphere. Afterwards, we continue to Saundersfoot, a picturesque resort nestled between Tenby and Amroth. Known for its harbour, waterfront, and places to eat and drink, Saundersfoot offers something for everyone. Designated a conservation area in 1995, the village retains its character and picturesque surroundings.

Day 4. Thursday Enjoy a day at leisure to explore more of Tenby at your own pace.

Day 5. Friday We depart and return home.

Excursion days are subject to change and will be confirmed with your final travel documents.
