Day 1. Monday We travel to Tenby.
Day 2. Tuesday Following breakfast, we include an excursion to the charming towns of Haverfordwest and St. David’s. Haverfordwest, the ancient county town, is beautifully situated on the banks of the River Cleddau and boasts a fascinating Norman castle that stands as a reminder of its rich history. After exploring Haverfordwest, we continue to St. David’s, located on the far southwest coast of Wales. Although officially designated as a city due to its magnificent cathedral, St. David’s retains the quaint charm and character of a traditional village. With its narrow streets, historic buildings, and stunning coastal surroundings, modern-day St. David’s offers visitors a delightful blend of culture, history, and natural beauty - making it a truly memorable destination to explore and enjoy during your visit.
Day 3. Wednesday Today we enjoy a visit to the historic town of Carmarthen and the charming seaside village of Saundersfoot. Carmarthen, known as the oldest town in Wales, perfectly blends traditional Welsh heritage with modern vibrancy. You’ll have the chance to explore its popular Wednesday market, where local produce and crafts create a lively atmosphere. Afterwards, we continue to Saundersfoot, a small but picturesque seaside resort nestled between Tenby and Amroth. Saundersfoot is known for its beautiful harbour, lively waterfront, and numerous places to eat and drink, offering something for every taste. In 1995, the village was designated a conservation area by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, ensuring the preservation of its unique character and stunning coastal surroundings.
