Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel directly to the Holiday Inn Preston, where we’ll settle in before enjoying a delicious early evening meal. Afterwards, get ready for a magical experience as we head to Blackpool for a breathtaking scenic drive through the world-famous Blackpool Illuminations. Celebrated as ‘the greatest free show on earth’ since 1879, this dazzling spectacle lights up six miles of the seafront with a mesmerizing display of glittering lights, vibrant colours, and captivating new additions each year. Feel the atmosphere as we soak in the shimmering wonder before returning to our hotel later that evening, hearts full of awe and delight.
Day 2. Sunday Following breakfast, we return to vibrant Blackpool for a day filled with leisure and excitement. Thrill-seekers can experience adrenaline-pumping rides and white-knuckle attractions at the iconic Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Alternatively, explore the world-famous Blackpool Tower - one of Britain’s most beloved landmarks - where history and entertainment come alive. Discover the grandeur of the legendary Tower Ballroom, enjoy dazzling performances at The Blackpool Tower Circus, or take in breathtaking panoramic views from The Blackpool Tower Eye. Later this afternoon, we depart Blackpool, setting off on our journey home.
