Itinerary

Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel to historic Bletchley Park. Once Britain’s best-kept secret, this remarkable site was home to the codebreakers whose work changed the course of World War II. Today, Bletchley Park stands as a fascinating attraction, inviting visitors to step back in time and uncover the achievements of the men and women who worked tirelessly here. Explore activities, from touring original buildings and seeing iconic codebreaking machines in action, to engaging with interactive exhibits that bring to life the challenges and triumphs of this pivotal wartime centre. Discover what life was like behind the scenes in one of Britain’s most historic sites. Later this afternoon, we continue to Milton Keynes and the Delta Hotel by Marriott Milton Keynes. This evening, enjoy a three-course dinner.

Day 2. Sunday Following breakfast, we depart and travel to the Imperial War Museum Duxford for the spectacular Battle of Britain Air Show. Set at the historic former RAF airfield, step back into summer 1940 as Duxford comes alive with the thrilling sights and sounds of Spitfires, Hurricanes, and other iconic aircraft soaring overhead. Presented by the Imperial War Museums, this immersive event features live music, captivating living history displays, and engaging family-friendly activities. Your ticket includes full access to the hangars and exhibitions, providing a fascinating insight into this pivotal era of aviation and wartime history. It’s a truly thrilling and memorable day packed with history, entertainment, and nostalgia for visitors of all ages. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.

The Delta Hotel by Marriott Milton Keynes is a modern hotel, 4-miles from the city centre and is ideally located for visiting Bletchley Park and the Imperial War Museum Duxford.
