Itinerary

Day 1. Friday We depart and travel to Liverpool, heading straight to the Leonardo Hotel. Luggage can be stored at the hotel while you explore the city. You may return to the hotel at your leisure from 4pm onwards, when check-in opens. With its unique attractions, exciting events, world-class sporting culture, unrivalled musical heritage, and famously warm welcomes, Liverpool is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway. The city boasts the largest collection of museums and galleries outside of London, placing culture and heritage at its very heart. For those who love to shop, Liverpool ONE offers a fantastic open-air shopping experience.

Day 2. Saturday Today, enjoy a free day to explore Liverpool at your own pace. This vibrant cultural capital is brimming with museums, galleries, and attractions to suit every interest – many of which are free to visit. From art to maritime history, National Museums Liverpool operates seven fantastic venues, including the Museum of Liverpool – the world’s first national museum dedicated to the history of a regional city. For something truly iconic, step inside the Royal Liver Building 360 experience and visit the clock tower, home to clock faces even larger than Big Ben’s. Or, hop aboard a city sightseeing bus for the ultimate guided tour of Liverpool.

Day 3. Sunday Enjoy additional time in Liverpool and make the most of its vibrant waterfront – a breathtaking, iconic setting filled with things to see and do. Whether you're up for a sing-along at the award-winning The Beatles Story or prefer a peaceful riverside stroll, there's something for everyone. For a unique perspective, why not take to the water on a Mersey Ferries River Explorer Cruise? It’s the ultimate sightseeing experience, offering fascinating insights into the history of the Mersey along with stunning views of Liverpool’s famous waterfront and landmark buildings. We depart later this afternoon to begin our journey home.
