Day 1. Sunday We depart and travel to the world-famous university city of Cambridge - where centuries of history, stunning architecture, and academic brilliance come together in one unforgettable setting. Stroll through cobbled streets and elegant courtyards as you explore the ancient colleges that have shaped some of the greatest minds in history. Marvel at the iconic King’s College Chapel, admire the picturesque “Backs” along the River Cam, and soak in the timeless charm of this city. Later this afternoon, we continue to Cambourne and check in at the Cambridge Belfry Hotel. This evening, enjoy a three-course meal with a complimentary glass of beer, wine, or a soft drink.
Day 2. Monday Following breakfast, we return to Cambridge for our final visit. The city offers a wealth of museums, from impressive collections of art and antiquities to fascinating specialist institutions such as the Museum of Zoology and the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. If shopping is your preference, Cambridge has it all - from charming boutiques and a bustling seven-day-a-week market to all the high street favourites. With leafy green spaces, serene waterways, and a skyline dotted with spires and towers, Cambridge is a city where natural beauty meets scholarly grandeur. We depart later this afternoon to begin our journey home.
