Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel to Windsor for included entrance to Windsor Castle - the largest and oldest inhabited castle in the world. Founded by William the Conqueror, the castle has been home to 40 monarchs and remains a powerful symbol of British royal heritage. It was carefully restored during Queen Elizabeth II’s reign following the fire of 1992. Explore the magnificent State Apartments, filled with priceless works of art, and visit St George’s Chapel - a masterpiece of Gothic architecture and the final resting place of several monarchs. Step inside this historic royal residence and experience its grandeur, rich history, and timeless splendour. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to Shepperton and the Holiday Inn London Shepperton. This evening, enjoy a three-course evening meal.
Day 2. Sunday We depart after breakfast and head to the Hampton Court Palace Food Festival, a vibrant celebration of gourmet delights featuring over 150 exceptional brands and producers. Enjoy pop-up bars and savor an irresistible array of delicious treats - from delicate macarons and artisanal marmalade to rich truffles, refreshing bubble tea, fiery chilli, creamy cheeses, crunchy churros, and fragrant chai. Your ticket also includes entry to Hampton Court Palace, an awe-inspiring and flamboyant masterpiece of kingship. Wander its vast courtyards, breathtaking gardens, and magnificent State Apartments that rival the grandest palaces of Europe. Later this afternoon, we depart to begin our journey home, full of wonderful memories, new culinary inspirations, and a taste for adventure.
