Itinerary

Day 1. Friday We depart and travel to Cambridge, heading straight to the Clayton Hotel. Luggage can be stored at the hotel while you explore the city. You may return to the hotel at your leisure from 4pm onwards, when check-in opens. Famed for its prestigious university, and historic architecture, Cambridge is a city full of timeless beauty and academic heritage. Take a gentle stroll through its cobbled streets, admire the grand college buildings, or enjoy a relaxing punt along the River Cam for a unique view of the city’s iconic bridges and spires. Shoppers will enjoy browsing the independent bookstores, artisan shops, and known high street brands.

Day 2. Saturday Today, enjoy a free day to explore Cambridge at your own pace. Discover iconic sights such as King’s College Chapel, the Fitzwilliam Museum, or the Botanic Garden for a moment of tranquility. Take a guided walking tour to uncover the city’s rich history, or wander along the peaceful paths of the Backs for some of Cambridge’s most picturesque views. Art and culture enthusiasts can delve into the city’s many galleries and museums, while food lovers will find plenty to enjoy in the charming cafés, restaurants, and pubs. In the evening, consider dining at one of Cambridge’s acclaimed eateries or catching a performance at the Arts Theatre.

Day 3. Sunday Enjoy some final time in Cambridge this morning before we begin our journey home. Take a last stroll through the historic colleges, browse the bustling Sunday market, or relax with a quiet coffee at one of the city’s many charming cafés. If you're in the mood for something peaceful, unwind in the green spaces of Parker’s Piece or enjoy a final walk along the River Cam. Whether you're seeking a bit of last-minute sightseeing, relaxed shopping, or a tranquil riverside moment, Cambridge - one of the country’s most historic and delightful cities - offers the perfect retreat. We depart later this afternoon to begin our journey home.
