Day 1. Saturday We depart and travel to Birmingham. As Britain’s second largest city, Birmingham is an industrial hub with a vibrant, creative heart. There’s a whole host of quirky adventures waiting to be discovered in the city. Find a funky scene at the Custard Factory, home to up-and-coming designers, artists and independent cafes and bars. Or satisfy your fashion fever at the Bullring, Mailbox Malls, and the achingly cool Grand Central complex. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to West Bromwich and the Mercure Birmingham West. This evening enjoy a three-course evening meal.
Day 2. Sunday Following a leisurely breakfast, we travel to the NEC and BBC Gardeners' World Live the ultimate day out for keen, hands-on gardeners. Step into gardening paradise at one of the UK's largest garden shows, featuring workshops, show gardens, expert advice, and so much more. All tickets include entry to the BBC Good Food Show Summer, packed with top chefs, plus tasty treats and artisan food and drink to sample and buy. That’s two great BBC shows in just one weekend! We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
